When You Look to the Side, It’s Easy to Stumble

When You Look to the Side, It’s Easy to Stumble

A real story from my journey in archviz, purpose, and being human.

I’ve been in the world of architectural visualization for 6 years now.

Started from scratch.
Zero clients. Zero experience.
Just a vision — blurry but powerful — of the life I wanted to build.

And over time, things started to align:
client projects, my own studio, a growing school, amazing students, creative freedom.
But with every step forward, the mountain in front of me… only grew taller.

The more I achieved, the more I expected from myself.
And sometimes — I’d get distracted.

Not by the work.
But by the
weight of it all.

I'd turn my head to look at the mountain ahead — the big goals, the empire I want to build.
Or I’d get pulled sideways — into stress about health, finances, family, or my personal life.
And in those moments, I’d stumble.

The Pause No One Talks About

Suddenly, I couldn’t open 3ds Max.
Or I’d open it and just… stare.
No spark. No creativity. Just mental fog.

In the past, I’d judge myself hard for this.
“You’re the leader. You can’t slow down. Keep going.”
But now? I’ve learned to listen.

I’ve learned to pause — and not panic.

Because I’m not a robot.
I’m a human building something real.
And that includes seasons of rest. Of reflection. Of healing.

I’m Not a Marathoner — I Sprint, Then I Breathe

One of the most freeing things I’ve ever heard came from Naval Ravikant:

“I’m not a marathoner. I’m a sprinter. I sprint, I rest, I sprint, I rest. That’s how I work.”
Watch here, 25:12

When I heard that, something clicked.

I realized… I’m the same.

I have creative explosions — bursts where I’m teaching, designing, building content, leading projects, all at once.
Then I crash.
Silence. Emptiness. Sometimes even doubt.

But that crash?
It’s not failure.
It’s feedback.

What I Tell Myself (and Maybe You Need This Too)

So when I hit that pause, I don’t resist it anymore.

I breathe.
I go outside.
I drink tea.
I pray.
I call a friend.
I get quiet enough to feel my own rhythm again.

And slowly — the fire returns.

This is what I’ve learned:

When you’re climbing your own mountain, it’s okay to stop and breathe.
Just don’t lie to yourself and call it the end.
It’s not the end.
It’s just a pause.

Find Your Own Rhythm. Protect It.

We live in a world obsessed with speed.
More content. More clients. More money. More growth.

But real art — real vision — doesn’t come from pressure.
It comes from depth.

And depth requires presence.

So wherever you are in your 3D journey — maybe freelancing, maybe building a studio, maybe stuck in burnout — let me remind you:

You don’t have to match anyone else’s pace.
You just have to find
yours — and trust it.

That might look like sprinting.
Then resting.
Then sprinting again.
That’s not weakness. That’s wisdom.

This Path We’re On Isn’t Linear — It’s Alive

I’m writing this for myself as much as I’m writing it for you.

Because even now, with momentum building and goals within reach…
I still stumble.

But now I get back up quicker.
Because I know my mission.
And I know this is part of the game.

If you’ve stumbled recently — in your art, in life, in your creative path —
take a breath.
You’re not broken.
You’re just human.

And sometimes the most powerful thing you can do…
is
rest.
Then rise again.

Let’s keep going.

The Archviz Letter: How I Find Clients (And What I Do When There Are None) 6 March Ross Plemya Creator Hey Reader, Let me say something most freelancers won’t admit. There will be months where nothing comes in. No emails. No new projects. No “hey, do you have time for something?” Just silence. And the longer that silence lasts, the more your brain starts turning a slow week into a story about how you’re failing. I’ve been there. More than once. Today I want to talk about it - because I think...

3D + AI ULOCKED 🔓 What Took Me 5 Years to Understand 27 February 2026 Ross Plemya Creator Hey Reader, 3D + AI is officially unlocked 🔓 Let me take you back to 2019. I just started learning 3D. I went online and searched for the best 3D courses in Kyiv. I found them. Strong reputation. Serious branding. They were offline. You had to physically go there like school. Three times a week. Two hours per class. After university lectures. And the funny part. It took me almost 1.5 hours to get there...

Nobody Tells You This About Architecture 20 February 2026 Ross Plemya Creator I first faced this problem when I was still a student. Back then, I thought the issue was me.That I just needed more time. More skills. More experience. But later I realized something important. The problem is not you.The problem is the nature of architecture itself. Architecture takes time. A lot of time. You can spend months working on a project, then wait a year to see it built, and only then understand what you...
